Nah, hopefully have finished pics tonight of the amps installed.
-
4 down 4 to go and some cleaning up the wiring if time permits.

-
that's not in your truck is it?? 8 amps, 5 batteries, wow. how many speakers u got? and what's that in?
-
Count again, that's 10 Powermaster Cells sitting there...
My guess is the obvious. It's an SPL car. Probably powering 4 subs. 15's or 18's most likely.
Looking at something above 10kw as well. Fi BTL? DC Lvl 4?
-
10? Count again ;)
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...wermasters.jpg
Its all in a POS astro
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../daflat004.jpg
Subs are six 15's, had RE MT last year at finals and sold them,
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...mtttess004.jpg
for Padre it will be dB Drive's WD subs in there (which isnt going to work well with this box :( )
I have talked with Rusty at DC possibly going to run his LVL 5's if I keep using this van and dont build the other. BTL just dont do the trick as great of a product as they offer even Scott will tell ya it not geared towards us one note wonders.
This was last years Padre install that we threw together in a couple days.

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f1...build/subs.jpg
Always wanted to do an install with 8 15's wasnt good on the meter which I knew before I ever cut the first baffle but it hit low
Needless to say this is the reason I own my truck as it is the tow pig for all this.
I finished the amp rack l ast night after having to pull one back out because i forgot to pull the protection jumper out and it wouldnt turn on with 18v :(

system
we all need to have a bass competition sometime

I know a guy here in Sac hat runs all DC stuff. His Geo Metro was insane and was going for a title last year. He ripped it all out I think and put it in his '85 Chevy lwb then added 2 more 15's, just for kicks.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think he's running lvl4 subs. The lvl5's look, just... insane...

Yeah I have seen the build, beats that old truck up pretty well.

Well my stereo definitely doesn't look special but that was really the goal.
My sound deadening thread is already on here but here is a final pic of my door
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...o/IMG_0282.jpg
Couple layer of Rammat inside and out couple layers of Spectrum. A layer of ensolite on the outer door panel. Fiberglass panels to cover the large holes in the door. The panels were then deadened and rammatt was used to cover the seems. Then another layer of ensolite to cover the outer skin (not pictured)
All back together it looks stock but the doors were hell to get on.
Other than that got a rear seat lift with a 2.4 cuft box tuned to 34hz for an SSA Icon 12. Have to find some pictures of it soon.

2 Attachment(s)
Here are a couple of the bedcut I did in my Z71, I sure do miss her already. It's a little rough after 2 years of being used as a truck but man was that thing loud. I had 2 Rockford Fosgate P2 DVC 12's. That is a bandpass box. doors were fully dynamatted with 4 eclipse 6.5 coax's Rockford T500.1bd on subs, and a T400.4 on mids and highs, at the heart of the system was an Eclipse CD7100 8V preout, CSII, time alignment, yada yada yada.

heres my stereo and custom box with dvc boston g3 10"
-
factory with aftermarket mids and highs, and a little 10 for a bump.

Pretty good lookin install....(and I am very much a critic).:thumb: It's amazing what some sound deadening will do for your sound quality huh.
-
hwo much did that fatmat cost you?

Here's my batteries up front.

I have to look on my other CPU and see if I still have all my pictures of the interior. I am running a JVC AVX-800, CDT Comp in the front doors, CDT 2 ways in the rear, Hi Fonics 4 channel for mids and highs, MTX 81001 for the subs, 2 DD 2500 12's in a custom ported box tuned to 40hz, 2 Kinetik HC1400's, and a 275 amp alternator.

Thanks. I might throw some loom on up here at work..lol

right right. I'm just one of those anal, picky, s.o.b. kinda dudes. I have my old boss and good friend Chuck Pace to thank for my pickyness, he wouldn't allow me to run a single wire that would be visible without loom. After working for him I have been one of the pickiest persons I know. I don't even allow people to touch my paint, I'm that kind of A-hole. lol. you definitely have one good lookin truck bro. much kudos. I really like the side by side battery setup. did you have to make a new tray or did they fit ok in the factory tray?

I have a good friend that owns a car audio shop that did the install. I did lose my windshield washer reservoir bottle. He does good klean installs and takes care of me on the $..lol

yeah, from what I can see he is very meticulous like myself (definitely like the heatshrink on the terminals). getting the hookup is very very important, especially in these times. Who needs washers anyway, wash your truck once or twice a week and you never have to worry about it. I don't even have wipers....RainX does wonders.
-
not very custom, all i have is an aftermarket head unit
