Thinking about new wheels

Ok so I am wanting to change the truck up a bit....
I wanna do a drop...maybe 2/4...and new wheels and tires..pretty much any change from all terrains will be nice. I was looking around to find some wider rims so I can still have a wider tire out back. Anyway...I was trying to find some suggestions for wheels/tires. I am just super lost cuz I cant find any good tires for 16's or 17's :(

I love the soft 8's for sure! But I like the first ones too....dunno they are just kinda different I think.

Wow I really dig those soft 8s also. I would definitely go with a 17 and a 295/60ish tire size with the 2/4:naughty:

quik its 2009 man, people love tucking 31's lol. i been spending the past hour brain storming a bad ass wheel to tire ratio for those soft 8's ill post findings in new thread later

Hey ive got a 275/55 17 with a 6in drop in the rear. It looks damn near perfect. I still havnt seen anyone with that setup in the rear.:thumb: I think the 295/60 would set that truck just right with the drop hes talking about.

Thought the super 8s would be a lot lighter since Crager was producing them. I like the steel wheel look but dont like the steel wheel weight. Doesnt Summit sell the same wheel for about 35 bux a piece?

Uhhhh I will send you my intake when I have the money for another one...or just another one to put on...:lol: I need one to drive!

Uhh they come in like 35 sizes or something like that...Ill post the link to the cragar site with the sizes.

See the thing is....I have been searching for tire sizes in 16 and 17....265/45-60 up to 315/45-60...and I have found like one or 2 tires.

Yea I found Hankooks and Kuhmos 285/60s but I dont think anything bigger is out there on a 17

I still want a little lower profile. Like maybe a 50-55?
I dunno...I havent really looked for 17's as much as I did for 16's.

My 285/75's are 31.5" tall....I think that 295/60's are a lil shorter...not by much tho.

285/75/16 is a 32.8" calculated tire

yupp you are correct. but calculated tire is 32.8. i know the 285s are a cheap reference to running 33s and the 265s are cheap reference to 31s
