Does anybody know where i could find a Denali grill assembly with headlights and all for my plain old sierra? i've always loved the looks of the denali's. Also, would this be a do-able project?

i know its not the same body style, but if you can do it on one of these i dont see any reason you couldnt do it to yours
Thanks, The only real difference in the denali front end of my body style is the way the parking lamps are shaped. the molded plastic kinda curves up towards the outside, and i've always loved that. I googled it, but no luck. yet.
someone will eventually chime in that knows more about this kind of stuff
Here in Houston they have the whole front clip for Escalade and Denali put together and setting on large pallets at a parts warehouse down the street from where I work.
All you need are the parts and they will swap right over. Gmc to gmc. Bumper lights, light wiring harness, grill, etc
Well, houston is about 250 miles away lol and a whole front clip is expensive.. i need a website or something. ive been lookin around on ebay for a while. nothin yet. anybody know what kind of price im lookin at? Bumper lights, light wiring harness, grill, etc
Found somethin that looks legit, check it out and lemme know what you think.
Changing The Stock Sierra Grille And Bumper To Denali - GM-Trucks.com
Yup that looks correct. 250 miles is a short distance if you save a ton. I'd drive 250 miles for a complete front clip if it was for say $1000.00
Ok I got 3 more questions.
1. Is a Sierra Denali and Sierra C3 the same thing?
2. Where would i be able to find denali leather seats?
3. Would it be easy to convert the interior from a 60/40 bench to 40/40 split with a center console and all?
#2....what color was George Washington's white horse?
If you wanna sell ur stock bumper with fog lights let me know!
The 2001 C3 was called....Sierra C3. They have a black grille and red lettering on the hub caps. They were offered with QS as an option. Starting in 2002 the name was changed to Sierra Denali. They have the chrome grille and plain hub caps. Once again, QS was an option. Not all C3's or SD's have QS.
The 3rd row seats from a YD are commonly sold for big bucks on eBay. The front seats could probably also be found on eBay but you'll want the seats from the same year as your truck due to wiring differences (or at least stay in the same family 2001-2002 and 2003-2006). If you have an EC, you'll need pick up rear seats.
Some of the dash pieces are different for console trucks verses non-console trucks so the "easiest" swap is to stay the same style. All C3's and SD's have buckets and console.
Alright. Thanks yall, i'll keep you posted on the outcome. Its gonna take me a while to find all the parts. I was lookin on ebay at the actual denali's and they had some super clean black ones for only 12000 so i'm not sure, i might just buy a denali!
I did this conversion on mine, but I got the majority of the parts from the dealership. I got tired of looking and trying to find used parts to piece it together. Cost me a little more, but oh well, it's what I wanted.
If you do the conversion. On 03+ Sierra's you will have to get the 99-02 frame to bumper brackets. Cut the welds on your existing brackets to remove from frame. Locate new brackets to the existing hole in frame, and drill 2 or 3 new holes. Attach brackets, then attach Denali re-bar to bracket. I had to do this to my 04.
If you do find a complete front at a boneyard, make sure you get those brackets.
It's a nice truck that you have, and with all of the other mods you have done, you should keep it. Would be cheaper to do the conversion, then spend $12,000
Then again Denalis come with lots of cool stuff and they're cheap now due to devaluation. They also come with a 6.0 FTW!!!!
Yeah i know gas guzzler, 6.0, AWD, possibly quadrasteer, and plenty more potential in the looks department as well as performance. Plus by the time i spend all this money and TIME on the outside, as well as making the inside identical to a Denali, finding a awd transfer case, and possibly a 6.0 i would be close, if not over, the $12000 mark. Plus around here i could probably get $20000 for my truck like it is. Price of cars is way up around here.
$20000 is a BIG number for anything right now.
BTW, you don't want the AWD transfer case.
The 03+ are open like a one leg rear axle. They modulate torque front and rear by using the ABS and Stabilitrac, not mechanically.
Why no AWD?
If you really want an AWD case, get the NP149. It is what the C3 and early Denalis had. It isn't open.
