That is from and 04? I thought they only started putting those on in 2006?

Nope...started in 2004 with a front splitter on the Suburban..trying to keep air from going under the SUV making the front end feel lite.

It was for fuel mileage. Started in 04 on utilities.

Although...it only helps about .5 mpg. I found it to help more on keeping the front end on the road a bit more.
