I'm finishing up a 6.0L/4L80E swap into my '88 RCSB and have a few wires I'm not 100 % sure on what they are. I need a schematic that shows all the wires that come through the firewall.
Also, is there a factory drive shaft that is the right length or will I have to have one made? The one that was originally in my truck is a few inches too short. The truck is 2wd and had a Th400.
Go to the 80e section of 700R4, 700 Raptor Transmission from PATC, 700R4 4L60E 48RE 4L80E and they have an extra long transmission yoke that you can trim to fit.

I didn't see it on their site. Look around, there are quite a few that are about 8" long. Thats how I did mine, too.
Are you talking about the driversside connector?
Both sides really, but what ever I can get will be helpful. There is a purple wire that comes out of one side and then back in the other side. On the passenger side there is a purple and white wire that runs into the cab and goes through a diode, but in not sure where it goes after that. Thanks. I think i may have figured out what the purple wire that I thought went back into the cab is. After looking at it again `it looks like it may go to the RWAL module.

i have 1991 gm wiring diagram book. But it doesn't have connector end view. If you can tell me what cavity from what plug i can search the book till it shows up.

NO!! I wish there was. That's the connector end view that it DOESN'T have. The book i have for 2001 has it, and i think i saw one on thirdgen that has c100 for a camaro, but its not the same as the truck. I can probably look through it and get all the wires and just post em up off the c100, like if you were under the hood looking at he firewall. I have to go to sams and make a volcano but after that i will see if i can get something together for ya.Quote:

The purple wire coming from the drivers side connector should go to the starter.
It's the crank signal.
The book that r6z406 has actually shows all of the wires in the c100 plug.
You just have to look through the entire book to find all of them.
Well i gotta go to Houston for some family stuff. I won't be able to look through the book till this weekend.
Its a smaller wire, maybe 18 ga.... it comes through the firewall on the passenger side. I believe it goes to the RWAL module and not through the c100 plug like I thought at first.Quote:
