I personally like the stainless..
i have the ceramic coated ones
Coated are the best bang for the buck! IMO pacesetter FTW!!!!!
it all depends on what you realisitcially plan to do. if just want headers for sake of it and never pop hood. run painted.
if youre building a big HP high dollar motor you wont be using cheap headers. so all will be stainless at the point
For my LS1 project i bought coated edelbrock headers:ugh2:
coated will never turn colors or get rusty! as long as ya got the cash they look good for a long time
stainless= good investment i've got dynatech on mine and love em yeah so they turn a little blue over time, but imo i think it looks cool
If I decide to go with headers, I will choose stainless, probably OBX, mostly due to road salt in the winters here.
ceramic coated here.. no fading or rust on my headers...
Ceramic ALL THE WAY... It raises the speed your exhaust, so that it travels faster
^^^I was gonna ask the same thing
Is stainless going to behave the same way, or would those need to be wrapped?
I'm looking at going with stainless works, will be a little ways off but.. that's cool
There's a header kit, lts, y pipe with high flow cats just under 1,500 :hyper2:
I am going with the pacesetters that are coated. its nice and suttle under the hood if you not building a show machine.
There is a group buy going on for the stainless works over on pt.net. It's for 30% off.
I have the headers & off road y pipe ordered, shipped to my door is $825.00.
