So I can't seem to get my truck to pass emissions due to the fact the catalyst and evap systems come up as not ready.
My truck is a 2004 that originally came with a 4.8L but now has a 6.0L. I also have aftermarket cats which I put on over a year ago. I haven't had any DTC's since I changend the cats so I don't think they are causing any problems.
I have completed the GM drive cycle many times as per the recommendation but I still won't pass.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That has more to do with cycles than parts.
Maybe there's another GMWCT on here besides me that works in an emissions county....

yep yep...in hptuners its 3-no error reported anyone that says bank 1 sensor 2 or bank 2 sensor 2 and also there are some p0420 cat codes...they are efficiency onesQuote:

We tried this on SC's truck last year and it still wouldn't pass, meaning the ReadyState Tests still showed failed.
His was SD tuned though, not sure if that has anything to do with it, put it back to maf tune and it worked.
my truck is also SD and maf wiring isnt even in the harness anymore along with all the other wires. It passes no issues. there are a few hidden codes at the bottom that dont allow for it ot pass if not wiped out
Is this just deleting the error codes? Or is it actually removing the o2 sensors from the computer with a tune?
The emission test is it looking for the o2 sensors, or just checking to see if there are errors?
you can get the computer to read as the 02s are ready apond first key on. you just need to set all the proper codes. if you dont it will never set properly.
So you're just setting the computer for the o2 sensors as ready, so when its tested it will pass?
yes, my truck has nothing in the harness besides front 02s and it sets all the codes the minute you turn the key on. i can pull my PCM out of my truck toss i in your truck and it would pass. anybody with HPtuners that know all the codes can do this.
