it is a Toy Drive Dyno Day:
Saturday December 20th 9am -4pm
We will be having our grand opening of the new GearHeads Performance shop/showroom. Located at 1200 S. Commercial Blvd. Suite 103 Arlington 76001
We will be doing a toy drive/dyno day special..bring in a toy and get 2 dyno pulls with a/f for $20 bucks...$25 info you dont have a toy...(please dont bring just 1 hot wheel)
Food and drinks will be provided..
I will be having discounts on all products in stock as well as special order items..way to low to advertise..
We will have the race cars (new one and the old one) and a bunch of autoconnectionusa cars on display..Hope to see everyone here for a good cause..thanks!

Hell no, my turbo was junk. So the search for a new turbo starts. I'm not sure I'll even be able to make it since I think I have a crack in my driverside manifold. Seems to be a fairly common issue on the titans. Maybe I can get them to swing a set of nismo LT's in there under warranty, lol.Quote:

Come on out Ryan if you can. That's my plan too. Virgil, I can bring a bungie (like you don't have one) to tie it out of the way. I'm also bringing some tools to pull my shaft (LOL Ricky). Gotta stop by Target for something for the kids and the wife 1st. I'd like to see what a sorry stock cam and exhaust LQ4 can pull....

Just a quickie post cause I have stuff to do...
Horsepower was 443, torque was 446. The guy said his dyno was 10-15hp low, so factor that in and I'm somewhere around 458/461. Or don't factor it in, I don't care. :lol:
crank that boost up so it puts turbo in more of its effieceny range!!!!
yeah it shot right to 443 and flatlined there all the way to 6400rpm....turbo is barely even trying lol

Dyno went crazy on my runs. I get to go back during the week to get it right. The horsepower was below 300 and the lowest torque was near 500. All that time for nothing.
Moze's sounded like it was sleep walking....sounded good but wasn't breaking a sweat.
PacMan sounded sweet and made the noise of about 360 RWHP but the rollers didn't say so.
My GMC rolled out ZERO on the dyno. 250 miles round trip and a new toy for an underprivileged (plus the $20 I did not get back) for nothing.
I would have demanded a refund. Same for Virgil. The dyno went crazy on me and I will get my runs properly done later this week.
I was in no position to demand a refund since they "stayed late" even though I didn't even make it to the door. The effing thing wouldn't move with the front driveshaft out. I could hear the crap spinning but nothing. What a load of crap.
I wasn't the last guy to get dynoed. You paid for two dyno pulls so you should be refunded your money or have your pulls waiting for you when you can make it back out there. And that sucks about the driveshaft issue.
Not sure it will ever be in the rollers if the damn TC won't allow it and I'm not jumping at the chance to drive 250 more miles for two pulls.
yeah im pretty pissed about my runs...i think i made what 277 at like 4,000rpm, plus my rear main seal leaking oil...smoking and then losing a rib on the belt...i was completely embarrased my truck looked like a piece of **** today...rear main is getting fixed tuesday and so is the belt problem

They beat the hell out of that dyno today, that is for sure. It was very close to 50 that showed up for pulls and very few only got 2 pulls.
My dyno guy has never let us down.....Ross is one of the best Ive ever dealt with. IMO
