you seen my work and i believe only one other person has copied my idea. my motor has solid motor mounts, thats how i get away with it. no body makes the kit, since it was a thought i had and decided to do. Im sorry but i wont duplicate the kit either. Nothing personal but different applications, to many variances to make it as a kit
coils.
Thunder Racing - Coil Relocation
really all you need is longer wires... and a bracket to hold the coils.
sick! 200 bucks is cheap! i wanna get new valve covers thats why like how quik has his set up it looks sooo clean with those chevrolet valve covers
That kit they have for sale is for the f body... not the truck... But you might be able to make it work.
quik SAYS he wont duplicate the kit... bit he already sent me the design and im marketing it as we speak... haha
I got breast milk from a Cambodian woman  BEAT THAT
What's the point? Cool lookin' it is but the short plug wires are a + of the LS engines.
thats the point. Looks a lot better.
Really? Subjective subject....especially at such a high price.
when you run out of things to do to a vehicle you start to improvise and get creative. make things look better
Does that happen? I always run out of money first.
+1
Actually, not sure Greg. I ran out of money on mine a long time ago but there are a lot of things I could do to make it "look better"....but $200 to put long ass plug wires on it is not one of them...
Yes, it looks cool on something show quality like Quik's but would be out of place on most. Just my $0.02.
Werd. I dont plan on spending $200 on a ''kit'' I might buy some longer wires, but Ill make the brackets myself. I just wonder if the harness will reach. Then I can get some nice valve covers, and show them off, the coils are ugly IMO. Unless you have the MSD ones.
I would like to do this as well as do all the wiring to hide it better. Mine is cluttered pretty nicely
I like them the way they are. I think it's one of the major upgrades that make the LS engines better than previous designs. I've had so much trouble with long plug wires getting burnt, etc. on old school stuff I'll leave mine the as is.
The harnesses should reach if you cut the tape off. I'm considering rewiring or rerouting my Denali engine compartment completely to make it look cleaner but I'll leave the coil near plug ignition. Hahahaha I'm off until the 29th so we'll see...
sciv they are Taylor wires. most expensive part was the wires and the tool to crimp.
