I think you left some plug wires off Allen!
Mann That Truck Is Sick!!im A Big Fan Of Laying Frame And Dragging.
Got Any More Vid Of That Truck?
Very nice truck! The engine looked a little dirty though.
I can see the rad. cap is off, i think jon left the coil harness unplugged, lol.
ya, it's at the exhaust shop now, i'll take some more vid.
Ya, no fender wells, you know. I might clean it up a bit for him.
Sounds good!Love the bumpy Idle!
Oh Yeah,i Know How It Is W/o Fenderwells, got To Clean It Every Day.
Cant Wait For Those Vids...smoke Em'
are yall changing the cam for the FI?
All bark no bite, sounds good guys.
what are the specs on the cam?
Your truck is one of my new favorites on the site!
What is the offset on those SS wheels?
Man look at the o-rings on the wheels. Bet it rides good.
Hahahaha
This fuel injected engines hate duration. I can't believe it sounds as rough with a 224 as my 256/262 did in my Chevelle....but at least my Chevelle was loud when the headers were unhooked.
Wow that thing is awesome, took guts to bag an SS.
what are the specs on the cam??
I bet they are like my cam specs...secret!!!
Sounds mean. I hope mine sounds like that!
truck sounds nasty!!!
Have you tried launching it from a dig yet? Just curious, from the video it appears to have a 2link setup in the rear which is very bad for traction of the line... Very good for doing some big nasty burnouts...
If you want to buy the cam I'll send the cam specs over, lol.
I will say it's a 224/234.
I hate not posting the cam specs, but please look at it from this side, we've put a lot of time in testing the cams and even more $$$$$, so to just pass out the cam specs... you know.
They aren't secret, we'll give you the cam specs when we sale a cam to you, so it's no secret, it's just we don't want to hand out free cam specs and get a "see ya later" lol. If it was a secret, we'd have comp cams put our own special grind on the end of the cam and not ther grind numbers.
Then again, you can put any cam on the grind dr.
Not hard digs yet, I'll leave that to the customer. It's weird though, on an aggressive take off, the rear end lifts up, kind of like caltracs do on the dyno.
Seems to get good traction for such low profile tires.
I'm not sure on all the other questions, I'll ask the customer, it does lay frame though, that's why the turbo wasn't a option.

Thats one of the bad things in the Air Ride Truck world was the invention of the 2link. It doesn't offer any good things from a rear setup except for thats its cheap and easy to install and anyone can do it. Plus you can win some burnout contests with a stock 4banger. You can still turbo them with laying frame. You just have to move a few things around. Speedaddicts lays frame and is turbo'd. The truck sounds really healthy.
We were thinking about using the used Trick kit I have here, that one specifically wouldn't fit. I noticed the crossmember contacts the pavement quite a bit, the crossover pipe hangs below that, I could cut and shorten it, but it would still be .5" too low.
Plus, the TVS is pretty cool,
allen
nothing a piece of oval tubing wouldn't have fixed.
could run the xover pipe all the way around the trans and back up front.
That thing sound badass
Sounds alot like my truck,???? i know it cant be the same cam though cus mine sounds like a bitch in a 6.0......that rim and tire combo could be better, but at least the truck sounds good.
my truck would launch out good on 2 link, like u said allen it lifts when u gun it,feels badazz.
Did someone say burnout?
YouTube - bagged lac truck
Customer just left and laid about a 200ft patch lol. I had no idea he ran the truck like that. Looked and Sounds awesome!
