Im currently modifying my 99 silverado 2500 with new cam and converter. My question is does anyone know of good long tube header for a 4x4. Ive checked out some header web sites but the listing are for 2wd only and there tech lines were unable to tell me if they would fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated
what engine do you have?
I think he has a 6.0....but I may be mistaken. I know paceSetter has some, and they fit for sure. A few of the guys on here run them on their 4x4.

they are pricks sometimes but you might wanna check out fullsizechevy.com. there was a guy there doin a SAS and had problems with long tubes hittin his mounting brackets in the front.Quote:

I bought used longtube pacesetter headers a while back and the former owner had beaten the crap out of it to fit in his 4wd Application. I wonder why?:ugh2:
OBX Headers took just lil bit of massaging to fit in my z71 (1500)
thanks for all the advice it helped out alot once im done with the cam swap and new converter I plan on using the pacesetters since there the cheapest and im on a budget
I honestly think you shouldnt have a problem if you order them from pacesetter directly for your vehicle. I think everyone else who has to bend stuff may have ordered wrong years and Ive only heard about problems with just the 4.8/5.3s but are really rare instances.Quote:

i saw post went on pacesetter web sit and couldent find LTs for a 6.0 any one know the part # or were else to get them
72C2265 should fit no problem-get there y-pipe also.
Why not by the much better Dynatechs in the classified section here?
I need the pipes.
