you guys have a great site. i finally found the truck ive been looking for and im going to pick it up tomorrow. its a 99 black sierra rcsb 2wd with a 5.3. right now i own a 01 Tahoe LT and a 96 camaro ss. im looking forward to making this thing a beast!

Whats your plans/ideas for the truck? How much power you lookin to have? We can get you steered down the right track...but its gonna be expensive!!!!!!!!
well im think im going to maybe do motor stuff first. i might just park it for the winter and start to tear into it. if i could have a mid low 14 sec. truck that will be fine for now. im thinking cam, full exhaust and a tune for now. im not sure on how low i want to go 3/5 maybe? (im not up on my lowing kits, ive always done cars.) depends on wheels, im think about doing 22" black KMC rockstars.

i really want to build a clean street truck, something that rides/handles good, my camaro is rough as hell but handles great. i want it to be fun to drive, and have some kick in the pants
no, i have my tahoe and camaro. this truck will end up replacing my camaro. its going to be toy/hauler for me. i carry so much **** in my hoe its starting to get a little beat up.Quote:

Welcome to the site! I saw the pics of the Camaro build...you put an LT1 in it??? BOOOO! After modding the truck, swap the LT1 out of the Camaro for an LS1...or even better--LS7!!! HAHA... Anyway, I also noticed you are a fan of the FCs. Were those Turbo II cars?

yeah i know the lt1 is weak but i had it laying around with the 6spd so.. and the red fc was a tll, and the gold one was a se. ive owned 7 rx7s back in the day. i think i would drop a LS in a rx7 before i swap one in the camaroQuote:
