Ok, from a dead stop, when I push the pedal to the floor, there is like a .5-1 second delay before anything happens. This makes for some real bad reaction times. Is this common on the DBW trucks and is there anything I can do to fix it?

My tune cured mine.
So I guess that is just the amount of time it takes the signal to travel from the pedal to the TB? I guess a tune can reduce that time is what your saying?
there is a built in delay time. Electical impulses travel at the speed of light.
And a full fledge tune is the only way to get rid of it? I like my superchips, because I can put the 87 max tune on it for everyday driving and tune it to 91 octane when playing around on the weekends.Quote:

Seriously, it costs like $6 more to put 93 in your tank. Plus your truck will run better, get better gas mileage, motor will run smoother, etc. Switching back and forth is too much trouble. Get a 93 octane custom tune and be done with it! :thumb:
