I have the 28" radiator and the efans work really well on mine
i had a 4.3 also and had the 28" but i decided to go with the 34" and gm fans !!

28 go for ls1 fans or gto fans
34 go with the danny fans or gm truck fans.
Trick sells some pretty sweet fan setups, too.
The original poster has the tiny radiator.
I'd go for the smaller fans and make your own harness.
I have the big motor therefore the big radiator therefore I bought the expensive OEM efans and therefore bought the expensive Nelson harness because I was too lazy to make a much higher quality harness of my own.
