you putin the pump back in the bucket or you leavin it out ?
Ok--you have the O-ring on there. It is shown by the arrow in this pic:
http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files...ump%20copy.jpg
Looks like you have it all together. I only made a point to have that O-ring on there because without it, the hose would not get a good seal on the male fitting coming off the top of the pump... And like we discussed, make sure that ground tab is completely touching the body of the pump.
Looks like you have it all ready to go! Finish what else is left and drop that bitch in! Call me if you run into problems...
Placing it back in, I loaded these pics to get some info from tyler.
1) I didn't have the ground tab in contact w/ the new pump.
2) Need to ID where the O-ring replacement goes.?
That is the external portion of the factory hose/line still on the original pump.
I will get it off and check for the O-ring underneath it.
I just noticed something...
#1. Where did you get that clear flex tubing from??? A water bottle?? LOL...
#2. How well is it secured to the housing? I see that you have a screw type band clamp securely attached to the pump, but what about the other end? Does it have a screw tyoe band clamp on it too?

This was just a section of the factory line. If I would have been a little more patient, I could have re-used it. Instead, I fractured it and had to use the line that came in the kit.
Yes, It took some modifying. I could only safety wire it, do to the space restrictions of having to plug back into the filter assembly.

Ground Contact good to go, canister cut GTG, re-assembly now.
I just used hose clamps where you put the safety wire.
What's up Jeff?
Tyler and I were talking about Fuel Canister assembly/mods out on the track the other day, and I wanted to get back w/ him before I put mine back together.
I am going to try and put my Kit on today. I was going to call you after lunch about the Waste Gate assembly to the Y-pipe. Don't have any refrence pics.
Are you going to be free after lunch to take some calls?
Awsome! Good job man. Maybe you aren't a retard after all! LOL...
Yeah, like Jeff said, you can use hose clamps. You can actually cut the black housing around where the hose attaches to the male fitting so that the clamp will fit. That housing is really only for looks.
Are you going to be using that clear white fuel hose? I discarded the one they gave me and put on some 300psi fuel hose just to make sure
At least I know where the weak link is, if my fuel pressue drops....
Fitting Q's on the pics to follow
NO Gasket for this, Is this the correct location?

Teflon or other sealant (Correct Location?)

Factory shipped w/ Brass coupler installed here. Any special Teflon / Sealant recommendations.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks gents.
Need a -6AN fitting?
I think the AN fitting you have in the turbo is the one that fits into the oil pan for the drain from the turbo. You could use one like that for the turbo coolant lines. Call as much as you want.
MAF sensor hooked in

Need to figure out the correct orientation of the turbo, then adjust the cross pipe to fit.

Hose routing - Water / AC / Etc.

Getting there.
i have a question about that pump i just ordered one for my truck and i was wondering if u needed a pressure regulator with that pump
Looking great!
Pressure regulator is built into the fuel rail.

Only (2) ways that it can go
its right
I'm with Mic...looks good to me. :thumb:
Cool! There are two ports to hook up the boost/vacuum hose. You want the one closest to the cross over pipe. The other one toward the back of the truck leave open.
I would take the advice mentioned earlier in this thread and consider using better fuel line. The only issue is, adapting better line to the existing fittings to utilize the factory filter can (canister in picture). You can't by these lines individually. GM only sell the entire canister assembly for 300$.
No answer on the regulator. Covered above.
