I got a single 12" sub box from custom sounds here in austin. Mine was like 60 or 70 bucks and I like it alot

Did you have to push the seat forward for it fit?
yeah, but I sit really close anyway so I dont notice it. The only thing that sits forward is the back of the seat. The bottom depth isnt too deep so i mean you might not notice it..

yeah building your own box is easy.
custom sounds in sa, great guys they can hook you up no doubt.
IMO. Probox is the best. I'm a big guy and the box doesn't bother me. sounds incredable when i put some fat mat sound deadener in mine.
+1 on probox. also boxes with ports hit harder and sound cleaner and more crisp than a sealed box.. imo. also if you have a ported box and ur A/C goes out, then you can duct-tape a drier hose to the port and reroute it to where cool air blows on ur face everytime the bass hits lmao. :spit:
I found a box on the internet, and somewhat copied it and built my own, its for 1 10" sub sealed box, about .75 cubic airspace, sounds pretty good for a 10 I will post some pics for you later, oh buy the way cost me less than $20 bucks including carpet

Thats not true. A properly tuned ported box will be louder, but you WILL lose crispness and cleanliness as compared to a sealed. This is coming from someone who hit a 153.8db on a TermLab mic with a single 12.Quote:
