Tylers rogaine supply got too low!!!! Naw Id say if its not rubbing in drive you shuld be cool. Maybe get some helper springs for towing. I would get a lower profile tire set myself
yea, i'll probly wait on the lowering after i start to need tires and get some lower profiles tires.. but would a 2/2 be about as low as i'd want? i mean everyone has different taste and the grounds the limit, but i'd like to be able to tow max load
you would like a 2/4 better. If you dont go 4 on the rear it will get the stink bug look back. I think that you should buy some 2'' rear shackles and see if you like that. I like mine with just the rear lowered. It might balance out your truck enough to stop the rubbing.
thanks man, i think thats what i'll try out first when funds come around
WTF??? What does that have to do with anything???
Anyway, I wouldn't even recommend towing with a drop. The 2" drop shackles are not a good diea either. They sit up too high towards the bed so that if you load the truck down with payload or a heavyt trailer--if you bottom out the suspension, you will dent the bottom of the bed with the shackles... I say leave it the way it is if you are planning on towing to the max trailer capacity... :twocents:
The shackles will never hit the bed, they pivot front to back, not move up and down. I tow 7000 lbs with my lowered truck, no problemo.
thanks guys.
I tow my racecar with 2" drop shackles, the tires are no wear near rubbing but it squats. If its a heavy load try getting a equalizer bar style hitch reciever. It helps with the ride too
well, heres a turn of events, the 20s are gone, just sold them today. gonna turn around w/ that money to buy my shackles and start savin for some 22s :ugh2:
