Contact 700R4, 700 Raptor Transmission from PATC, 700R4 4L60E 48RE 4L80E and order one of the huge +3.5 qt capacity oil pans. Its what I have on mine and its heavy duty aluminum. :thumb: Get PN #3XX for the most fluid and strength if you have room for it to drop straight down another inch or so from stock depth.
Here's an alternative for a little bit less money (if that's a concern for a high-roller like yourself Illya )
2 extra quarts and cooling tubes for $80 is a pretty good deal.
thats not for an 80e Moze is it?
i also found this one which is a little more expensive but it looks really nice.
Transmission Pans for a GM 4L80E Fits the following vehicles GM 1992-2007 1500/2500/3500 Trucks, Suburbans 6.0 Liter HD Trucks Overall height is 4 1/2" Holds 4.5 quarts more fluid than stock pan - Transmission Pans - Off Road Unlimited
ill have to see where 4.5" brings it down to, if it's not too low i might as well get it.
i use to have one like what Moze posted up with the tubes running thru the bottom it was really nice...
That one was thanks to Moze. I prefer the cast aluminum ones. There are sooooo many welds on those with the tubes. I always worry about leaks with that many welds.
i measured and 4.5" was still higher than the exhuast pipe so i ordered the ORU pan. 336.00:ugh2:
looks like a really nice one and holds 4.5 quarts more than the stock.

Nice
Looks like ya already got one, but they do make one for the 4l80e. Anyway, looks like ya got a good one.
yeah im anxoius to check the ORU out. that one with the tubes might be really effective if it had some kind of duct running into it that caught fresh air.
i know mine would only be sucking in the hot air from the exhaust pipe which might make it even hotter because the pipe is right in front of it.
for a street application i could see it being very effective with fresh air being forced into it somehow, but for me i would probably have to crawl under there all the time with a hose to blow all the mud out.
Got the pan today, wow its really nice and super quality. ill take a pic today of it.
cool man congrats now get your ace helper there to help you get it on... :)
If i ever need parts that ORU has i will definately not think twice about ordering it from them. they shipped right away and came with all necessary hardware. total class A company.
