So I am guessing the price of SUV's and trucks is going to sky rocket..
Im betting the prices will fall dramatically. Because nobody will want them. Sux that there wont be anymore SUV's but I think there will always be a demand for trucks. A crossover can replace a full size suv. But the colorado cant replace the silverado1500-3500. I also am willing to bet that the economy will level out. and oil will go down in price in the next 10 years. It will be ok.
I was thinking about this yesterday, and I think the reason gas actually went up was because the oil companies would lose out on business once more hybrids approach the market. Now they don't have to worry about it, they are set for life, probably 2 lifes lol. You would think when the demand goes down price goes down.. And when the supply goes down the price goes up. Well supply of gas is about the same, demand went down price went up.. ?? that makes no sense at all. We all have cut back on using it so there for the demand is down. Which means the supply should go up because we are using less, and they are selling less. The only reason I said the price for the trucks would increase is because they are closing the plants that mass produce them, so the supply is going down which makes price increase, but then the price of driving them IS going up..
I better go out and get me a denali and tahoe before they are gone
I'm thinking like FF Jeff: The price of gas will drop, but not to where it was before the jump. That's the cycle we've been having.........
Price skyrockets, then drops some, and the drivers are happy as hell because of the drop, but still paying more than before the jump.
But maybe "The General" knows something we all don't, shutting the doors on those plants.........

Well the crazy think is there is still a huge market for deep water discover drilling. They are doing some huge oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Mexico right now. We just finished a field with 18 wells in 8000' of water. So its not like they are not producing a **** ton of oil and gas. But the last time the gas price dropped the oil field crashed and thousands of people were with out work, so i dont hope that happen.
to $%^& with those polar bears they need to kill em and start drilling. i belive that the only reason oil is so high is because those %^&$ oil companies r just greedy. but dont worry obama will fix everything. LOL
This is very bad, in so many ways. This is probably just the beginning.
They also might sell hummer. Oh and for get about getting a Durmax, I am pretty sure they are going to slow that production down to a few hundred trucks a month if that. Dodge dealerships cant even give there cummings away right now. At almost $5 bux a gallon.. no sirQuote:
