i was planning on doing a full exhaust, but after talking with my dad (he wont let me install it myself, so i have to pay someone to do it) i figured out that it was going to cost way more than i had to buy the parts and pay someone to install it.:ugh2: I have from 600-1000 dollars to spend, so what mods should i do for that money?:confused:

its a DD truck, so i dont know if nitrous would be of any use except when i wanted to have a little fun every now and then
if all you were going to get for exahust was cat back just get a good muffler and have it dumped in font of the axle. maybe a cam? or some juice like everyone else said.
i was kind of wanting to do a cam, but i think its a little out of my price range for now. About how much does it cost do do a complete cam kit w/ all necessary parts plus labor to install?
oh to have it installed with new springs is a little over 1k i think thats with everything. But weld in a corsa muffler also. that will be cheap and it will sound better too.
would i need new pushrods, retainers, or rocker arms?
would UD pulleys be something to look at?
Yes, a UD pulley would be good. Does your truck already have e-fans? I am wondering what would be so hard about bolting up a set of LT headers and ORY, then have an exhaust shop weld on a muffler and tail pipes? Its not like you'd be doing all of it! Seriously, convince your dad to let you bolt on the headers and y-pipe. They really aren't that hard to install....
the main problem is the cost (900 for the headers alone). and i just think theres better places to spend that money. tell me if im wrong, but for the money the power gains for exhaust arent that big.
yeah your wrong. J/k No really though the headers along with the intake and tune is the way to get the most out of your ride with out changing anything in the motor.
you can get coated pace setters with ORY for around $500 or you can get stainless OBX headers with y pipe for around the same price. so no need to spend $900 on headers
yes, i already have e-fans. whats there to gain with them over not e fans?

I'm doing the exhaust still, im just going to install the headers myself and have talked my dad into letting me just dump the exhaust instead of going all the way back. this should make it a lot cheaper so i can actually pay for it!
