I have wanted a Trans am since i was kid... pewter with black Interior. with full exhaust, built 6 speed, and maybe a turbo. http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files/40/trans%20am.jpg If you mean classic muscle... hands down a 1969 Nova ss http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files...0Nova%20ss.jpg
I like those too, this guy just finished an update restore.http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files...239_edited.JPG
This is the best one I have ever owned, but my favorite (dreaming big) would be a big block '70 Chevelle convertible.
69 Plymouth Road Runner

69 Camaro convertible with ZL-1 engine option. Dream big!
I know, Camaro's really aren't muscle cars, they're pony cars. Muscle cars are land yaughts.
My father-in-law has a 69 Roadrunner with a 528 Hemi crate motor from Indy Cylinder Head. About 650 HP, its a street car.
Just a few!

Man there are some sweet cars on this post. My first car was 72 T/A and when i seen it man what a flashback, those were the days!!!
Don't Laugh. For years I have wanted a Chevy luv in hopes of restoring it and turning it into a full blown out drag truck. These are the best pics I could find but I want a short bed.

As for the modern day muscle car:
2009 Corvette ZR-1
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s...itekt/ZR-1.jpg
And for a classic muscle car:
1969 Challenger
http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s...challenger.jpg
Even though corvette is my favorite car my muscle car would have to be the 1972 396 NOVA
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h4...NJ/396nova.jpg
Then heres the 69' 427
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h4...ISSONJ/427.jpg
Today's muscle ill probably get butchered for this but this car kicks ass
Supercharged Cadillac XLR
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h4...ISSONJ/xlr.jpg
They didn't make a Challenger in 69. That one there is a 72-74. They were made from 70-74. The 70-71 had a different grille. The reason I know is my father-in-law has a 70 Challenger. Not trying to be a smart ass but I am a mopar man when it comes to old cars.
Also that one in the picture has the wrong motor. They used the 340 Six packs in the T/A cars not the 440 Six pack. T/A's were used in the Trans Am Racing series and had to be able to run on a road course, hence the smaller engine.
Awwww....EFF. Sorry. I was gunna put a pic of a 69 Camaro on there but changed my mind at the last minute. Sorry for that. I took the Camaro text off and replaced it with Challenger and didn't even say 1972. Good call though. I know they didn't make them until 1970 also--I am a Mopar man as well... AND NO EFFING COMMENTS ABOUT THAT GUYS! We've already gone throught this...
And good call there too. Like I said, I was gunna put a 69 Camaro down until I forgot I had this picture. This car is one of my dad's dealer friends who did a RestoMod... That is the picture of the actual garage he built specifically for this car. Yes, it was originally a 340 car...but he restored it with a 440 Six-Pack, Hurst pistol grip 4-speed, 3.90 gears, and painted it the (EV2) Hemi Orange. He made his 1972 appear as a '70 T/A car.
Trans Ams, most definitely. I've owned about 20 of them now, currently have a 98 TA and an 89 Formula.
I like all musclecars, though. I also have a 74 AMX. How's that for an oddball car?
What makes yours even more oddball is the fact that it is a 401 motor. The largest engine you could option in them is the 390...did you have the stock motor bored .030 over to get the 401 ci displacement?????
401 is a stock AMC engine size.
well here's mine couldn't find one the way I would do it but this is close. I would want it tubbed and narrowed a little and different wheels and change the purple to green.
62 nova
http://www.ls1truck.com/upload/files/58/nova.JPG
360,390 and 401 were options in AMXs. One of the guys I work with has a 74 AMX with the 401. :thumb: Orange with white stripes, all original. He calls it red but I say it orange.
im goin to have to say my dads mustang. its a 1971 boss 351
