HAILLLL NO. Teenager + Hot Rod truck = dead truck.
aren't you a little old for prom?
J/K
I voted yes
Dont tell him...but hes a good kid.dont forget to vote at the top...
I'd say that he should clean it first AND when he returns it. And make sure he pays you $100 for the tires he burns off...
You could always detune it. Allen has his daughter's Z28 detuned so it won't go over 65 or something. I voted for clean it with a toothbrush.
Good idea Jeff....Ill set the limiter to 65mph and rev limit to 3500
Peter tracks thats awesome.
i thought u were talking about our lil Quagmire himself(txarkitekt) at first lol. um id say no, but its ur truck.
You know heis going to goose it. Ima say no too. I let my wife drive mine once and remember what happened? Its funny now but she was lucky. PLus yours is allot faster than mine.
:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:
that is hilarious!!!!!
Dale im serious about the insurance upgrade, and if you do that i would go for it!!! because that would be alot of money and time you can never get back.:( Because I personally wouldn't let me son use my truck!!!!!!
But its your truck and choice, if you honestly can say I trust him, Then go for it!!!!!!!!!
GIGGITY-GIGGITY!!!!!

drove my dads truck to prom last year. felt like a million bucks! date thought so too! So i say go for it!
ok i vote yes.....
but yes he should also clean it
and yes it will prolly come back with "peter tracks" all over it....
Let him take you for a drive in it and tell him to hammer it a couple of times , then tell him "Now that that's out your system don't do it when you use it for the Prom" and at least you can judge if he does nail it , if he will be able to handle it or not .
Just let everyone around know if he does get to take it so they can at least stay of the road that night .
If you trust I say let him take it how it is, hes either going to respect it or not. If you set the rev limiter to 3500 what if he needs to get out into traffic or avoid a collision and puts his foot to the floor and theres nothing there. That would suck. If you trust him enough to drive it you trust him period. Kids are going to be kids just let him know if he screws up his ass is grass.
Do you have a backup vehicle "just in case"? This time of year is your busiest time with work, what would you do should something happen to the truck? My insurance won't cover anyone under 25 driving the thing so be sure he has full coverage insurance and that its current before you let him drive your truck.
X2 what Use2bfo said. Let him drive it with you a couple of times. Make sure 1 of those times is a couple hours before prom time. Tell him to get it out of his system now. I've been driving for 28 years and it still amazes me how quickly a little high powered fun can get stupid and dangerous.
Jeff
i voted no dale, but not to put a damper on his night, but to prevent something bad from happening to him or your truck. if he is anything like i was in h.s., your truck is coming back with bald tires and definantly peter tracks all over the truck, lol:lol:
He said he drives his moms Tahoe wouldn't his date be more comfortable spreed out in the back of that then the bed of youre truck
yeah, what if its raining? not only will the tahoe have better traction, they can still "have a good night". throw some trojans in and there shouldnt be any peter tracks(if he's skilled), IF there IS peter tracks he may need that tahoe in a few months anyways...
LMAO at you guys....If its raining he wont take it...I cant drive that SOB in the rain. And honestly would you guys want to take a stock tahoe or my truck...as far as cool factor goes anyway....When I was 18,the ride was more important than the ass and still is.Im a gearhead till I die!
Im gonna say let him take it but clean that bitch first and after and like the others id ride with him and have him get on it to make sure if he does it wont get away from him i let a kid take my truck out on a date with this girl he wanted to hook up with he's 16 and gotta lead foot i told him dont get too crazy but you can goose it a little just remember ill find out and hunt you down and if you race you'd better win  its a little better since he's your nephew i mean this kid i know okay, but he just really likes my truck.A friend of the family let me take thier WS6 to prom, they'd had it for less than a month but it felt sweet showin up in that thing. So i say let him look like an EFFIN PIMP for one night man plus the EXT CAB is perfect hahahhaha thats what i miss about my ecsb hahahah.
Thats what I love about my crew cab the back of the seat fold down so the whole rear half of the cab is a flat bed:naughty:
Some of these guys will remember, it was my nephew who popped the #7 piston in my turbo'd 5.3 Just make sure he can afford to fix it.hehe
LOL at brandon^^^ still raining pu$$ie$ and here comes that dick again for him lol. see u cant trust nephews... but cousins u can ;) aint that right brandon?!
Lick my balls Nancy! Good try though...
1.) I do NOT spill my beer. I would kick my own ass if I did.
2.) NO beer can be spilled down an intake cause the intake is not there. Look at the pic again Sweet Tits.
3.) Danny has a cigarette in his hands right over top of the motor. He is only pushing wiring out of the way.
4.) Even so if I did spill my beer OR if Danny ashed on the top of Brad's truck, the blue painters tape we put over the intake runners on the heads would prohibit any crap from entering the motor. We are careful and good at what we do.
Don't try and call me out again Butter Nuts. I am WAY smarter than I appear! :)
