I told you !!... I know they are simple and not alot to them... BUT the quality is GREAT !!!!!! .... and a very decent deal at 330.00 !!!!!!
yep...
I'll start the install on them Monday, have family stuff going on this weekend. I've pretty much had the weekends to myself for a while so I really need the family time. I also have to notch out my Beltech front hangers to clear the pivot plates.
If you wanted to give some a try.. we could have done some swaping... U could have road tested that 408 before you stuffed it back in your truck....
Do you have any pics?
pics yet
What's the word? I know when I installed my Cal-Tracs the hardest part was pressing the leaf spring bushings out. I love them for the price and they're so easy to adjust!
Yeah, pushing the bushing out was fun. I pushed the center bushing out first and then I took my sawzall to the metal portion of the bushing and sliced out as much of the metal part as possible at the eye. I then pressed the rubber part out and then hammered out the steel bushing. One side had a shoulder on it so it could only be pressed out one direction. The other side of the metal bushing is swedged to keep it from backing out. Now I see why guys have complained about what a PITA it is to remove it. Took about an hour to remove them using a ball joint press tool I rented from Autozone. I have a press but that what a two person job and it was only me, so old manual style tooling went to work. :whack:
What do you guys want pics of?
well how you like em red....
not liking them right now, I ran out of acetylene earlier and went to Tractor Supply Co to replace it. Got home, made one cut and ran out of Oxy. :tantrum:
