Firestorm, take the cover off of the wiper module and resolder all the connections. All you have to do is get the solder hot enough to get it to puddle. It's best to do it off the truck. What happens is the cold solder joints vibrate enough that the connections crack and no longer function correctly. I have fixed 3 or 4 just by resoldering the connections. You'll need a good solder gun for the large areas. A solder pencil is too light to get it hot enough to melt the solder.
Cool....I took it off while my interior was drying from the fresh paint I applied. Fairly easy and straight forward. I took the circut board out of the truck and inspected it. All the solders look decent and none of the caps appeared to be leaking like some of the ECU's I've seen for DSM cars. However, on one side of the circuit board it appeared like someone had poured red kool-aid all over the panel. I cleaned some of it up with a shop towel. Also there was a blue box looking thing attatched to the circut board that was saturated in the red stuff too.
