Yo... after the last e-mail I got from you. I need to post. You call me on Jan 7th to check my address and talk to my Uncle. THe address is confirmed. I call Jan 8th and get a tracking #.. "it's going on the truck 2nite" ok fine.. a week later UPS still says billing info received..

After more e-mailing you.. you tell me you'll try to ship it this past Sat and I could have it by Tuesday (YEsterday)..

Then I get another response to more e-mails I sent you asking if I think I am your only customer. NO I KNOW YOU HAVE MANY CUSTOMERS. But the part of that e-mail that really ticked me the hell off.

"I am backed up on work and am doing my best to catch up" Ok cool but then you say harness are being shipped when they are finished. MINE WAS DONE JAN 7TH Were is it Oscar? This stayed post stayed sane... I could post everything but I'd rather not do that. You guys seemed so helpful before you got my $$..

I don't have my wires either that were shipped three times since Christmas eve after he had the Flu.I think he'll get it together,hope so.At least he told you he was backed up.Would have wired it myself if I'd have known my ride was going to be down for three monthes.Told me they'd be here by Thursday.Haven't fired my engine up and hope it ain't knocking or something.Guy that sold it to me probably won't warranty it now it's been so long.Still sitting with no wires. :cry:

I'm just hoping when I get it my speedo and cruise motors,sims and evrything is right.Putting it in an '82 El Camino and had him install a speedo motor and cable so I wouldn't have to mess with the tailshaft.Supposed to have a cruise motor that plugs into my cruise switch to eliminate the transducer and module.O2 sims -no cats-dual turbos,don't want too much noise,just breathe.Going to be a sleeper.Bought a new instrument cluster with gauges to be wired in and fuel pump wires for a MSD inline pump so I don't have to mess with the tank.Had him put a tach wire separate.Don't know about it yet,put one in the cluster or sparate.Fan wires,extra on the IAT cause I'm mounting it in the fenderwell,and a fuse and relay box.I'm not suprized mine's taking a while,but he could tell me what's up!Still sitting.Dust is getting thick. :sad:

I know what you mean. My motor has been sittin for so long now to it gets me nervous. I've sprayed wd40 in the cylinders a few times. Hopefully once I get the harness back It'll fire fine. I'm putting a 98 Vortec motor in a 94 S10.. he's running wires for autometer gauges, efans, and a new dianostic port.

It'll fire right up!Sounds nice.Definately will be smokin tires :burnout: WD 40 sounds like a good idea,I thought about it,but got busy.I've got stuff hanging all over I don't know what to do with till I get some wires.I get the wires and they'll probably be flopping for a little while cause I'm going to try some burnouts first.I think Oscar just overdid it here lately and took on too much.Kinda sucks for us,I'm ready to ride.Got this ride in Texas in June and been working on it ever since.Had 1700 miles on a 350 4 bolt and it smoked.Guy in Houston didn't line up the pulleys right,water pump belt came off at about 80 and it fried.Didn't have the temp light working.Got to check them gauges when you put an engine in.

Don't know if this will make you feel any better.Got my harness todayHope your's will be there soon.Lacking the speedo motor and cruise motor.Had to send Oscar the tire size and gear ratio so he can calibrate them.Hope he doesn't take too long.I told him you were pissed,surely he know's that allready.Said he was backed up big time.Anyway,hope to get some pics on here of some smokin tires pretty quick.Guess you put them in a different forum though.Want to see some of your's too. :eek:

I just talked to him now. It finally shipped out :jump: :jump: Way later then it should've but whatever. As long as it works and was built like it was supposed to..

glad you're finally getting your stuff. i hope everything is right.

You guys are lucky, Oscar wired mine, a simple conversion with nothing but the tachometer singled out to feed my 92 truck V6 tach. Took over 4 months to get the harness and I am still waiting for the tach converter. Like the rest of you I got the run around forever. Was promised shipping a dozen times and it didn't happen. Still getting empty promises for shipping my tach module. 6 months and counting to receive everything I paid for. He may know what he is doing and he may do quailty work but customer service and keeping promises doesn't seem to high on his priorities. I guess you can get away with that when people pay up front for services.

Good luck to all who deal with Dynatech Motorsports and wish me luck in ever receiving my tach module.

Don't know about quality work :nutz: ,I've heard mixed reviews about that.We're fixin' to find out.I'm going to put mine together this weekend if possible.I'll let you know how it goes.I've had to finish some of it up allready.Nothing major,Oscar said he had hurried to get it to me so I could get it running.Missing the O2 sims,speedo and cruise motors $475.Said he had to calibrate the motors,sent him the tire size and gear ratio.I'd better get them .I've got a lot of freinds where He's at.I grew up there.Checked on a plane ticket too. :bash:

PCM says P1626D Pass KeyFuel Enable Circuit . How do I bypass the VATS :duh: Any ideas.Was supposed to be disabled. :sad:

LS1 Edit can turn it off. If you don't have access to that, then you can splice a resistor into the passkey circuit to "fool" the computer into thinking the right key was inserted. Of course, there are about 15 different resistors to choose from, so without the original key it is trial and error. I have a few "VATS bypass kits" and you are welcome to one if you like. PM or post in this thread if you need one bud.

Got a call in to Oscar and an e-mail.Got a wire he's marked VATS coming out of the harness.He may have put something in there allready.He knows it was going in an El Camino.He didn't mark what the wire goes to power or ground.Was just going to get the wiring diagram up on the Firebird it came out of.May have to take you up on the offer,sure appreciate it.

Check tha wiring diagram very carefully. VATS wires are usually very thin and come in pairs. They are only supposed to read a resistance (the key) and not be hooked up to power or ground. Better find out exactly what that wire is for so nothing is damaged. Good Luck!

1626D says its not pulsing the injectors even if the starter circuit is by-passed.Going to have to get the right signal from the Vats module.Looks like Oscars left something out.Probably in the box with my O2 sims,speedo and cruise motors. :bash:

damn man. did he build you a custom harness or did he modify one for you? i had a fully custom one built for 750. i just had to buy a little vats bypass module seperate.

Had him graft my El Camino harness into the Firebird harness.Was supposed to get a speedo motor to run the speedo.A cruise motor to run the cruise,O2 sims to get rid of the cats,bypass the VATS and the EVAP.Hasn't sent the speedo and cruise motors or the sims.Sent him the tire size and gear ratio to calibrate the motors,but haven't heard anything from him.He should have got that info when I sent the harness in the beginning of Nov.instead of waiting till I got the harness back,and I sure don't understand why he at least didn't send the sims.Bandit said he'll get me a by-pass kit.Got a message to him now.This has been a major pain.Should have done it myself.

Well,Oscar says he's sending the motors and sims on Wed.He sure is a nice guy when you're talking to him.Looks like he's answering the phone more often too.Anyway,going to send VATS by-pass kit today,so maybe it will run longer than a few seconds pretty soon. :jump:

That's not good,but people say things they don't mean when they get angry.I try not to do that :laugh: If I get my motors and sims in I'll feel like I got my $750 worth.I don't see where I'm going to connect the speedo motor though.There's no wire marked for it.Might have to get the wiring diagram out again. :duh: I was going to have him do some more harnesses,there's noone around here that does swaps.We've got one performance shop that does rice burners.I don't have time to do the wiring.That's why I sent it to Oscar.Might have to make time if he doesn't get it together. :sad:

When it comes time this summer when i need my harness, im probably going to have speartech do it by the sounds of all this so far. My harness is going to be a lot more complicated, I have a list written out of everythign I need done, I don't think Oscar could handle that. I don't think it's that he doesn't know what he's doing... it's the NUMBER of requests he gets. Maybe he should stay away from that damn ebay and get us happy first. :cool:

I am waiting for mine still. He sold me a tach module said he is waiting for it. I talked to the person he gets them from and the guy says he never ordered one from him, BakerElectronix.com. Also, Oscar modified my harness, Okay. Good job. Also in the contract for work he was to test the ECM and put it on a scope and make it work with VATS module. He was also supposed to test fire it on his test engine. This could not have happened since my engine will not run for more than a second. Oscars's work for the harness modification was good but the rest of the contracted work was crap. I told Oscar I was sending a ECM that was from a 2001 Corvette and that it would need to be setup to work with the f-body wiring harness. He said "That will be no problem". Now I have the truck ready to go and I cannot go anywhere running just one second at a time. Now I am probably going to be out the expense of getting the computer reprogrammed somewhere else. Damn, how am I going to ever get this thing going with all the delays!!!

I guess I should have checked with the Better Business Bureau before doing business over the internet. It pays to report any company that does not do what you paid for, be it services or products. If it does not save you a headache, maybe it will save someone else a headache in the future. The BBB is made to protect us from poor performing companies and forums like this will shine the light down the dark alleys some companies like to do business in.

Just went through all the same BS with mine.

It's only running for a second because the VATS is shutting down the injectors.

If your truck has Vats you can put a resistor in.I got one from Bandit,but had to go with the module '82 El Camino.Took about 10 minutes to install.

Baker electronics seems to have it together,answered my e-mails immediatly.

what year ecm are you running. Baker thinks I need a body control module to go with the VATS module but wasn't sure. My 2001 doesn't work with their VATS module all by itself. I have the module and Baker said the voltages I am getting are correct on the blue wire.

I will be out in Anaheim in May. I will get to pay them a visit in person and report to everyone if he is truly as busy as he says he is. Believe me, if I don't get satisfaction before I go out there in May I will be coming home with a big smile on my face.

I don't know about everyone else but I cannot get to his web site at this time. Even going through Google his web site is down. He is not answering his phone again, too. I believe Ebay pulled all his ads, also.

I've got an LT1 running a '97 f-body PCM .

Bandit sent a resistor kit,but you have to have a passkey module.It's for original equipment.Your truck didn't come stock with VATS.I used Baker's module by itself.

2001 should be talking the same computer language as mine.Still haven't got all those VPM's and ISO's figured out.See if I can find out what program your's runs.

The signal to the PCM from the module should be in Hz.

Think Bandit was better than me with this stuff. :duh:

I've got most of this stuff written down at work,see if I can gather it up tomorrow.

yeah, 50 mhz for ls1 and lt1s and 30 mhz for early lt1 92 and 93 as far as I can remember.
