Damnit, I really didn't proof-read my stuff. I have this nervous twitch from back in 'Nam...which causes me to accidentially hit the "o" key oone tooo many times... See? it happened again. Can't control it. Damn Napalm...
And wait...the bet is placed upon your 4th cam being the last. And if I remember correctly, you haven't purchased the 4th cam yet? (First being the stock cam, 2nd being the Futral, 3rd being your current Comp cam, and the 4th--TBD) I made the comedic wager that I don't think it will be...so the bet is on the 4th cam being the last. And so if your win that bet, you therefore do not put any more cams in your truck. So, with your winnings from the bet, you go buy a 5th cam (here is where I started laughing)--completely negating the fact that you won the bet that the 4th cam would be your last. Now, with the purchase of the 5th cam, you loooooose(hehe) the bet. Making me the victor in this wager. Actually, we both win. It's just that in this instance, you win the battle, I win the war.
But whatever. I knew exactly where you were going by making the original statement of taking the winnings and buying a new cam. I thought it was hilarious! And I was merely trying to make a lame attempt to keep the comedic trip alive by trying to add a few funny words...but I failed.
Anyway, my cam is in. Comp 220/220 581/581 114 LSA with +3 degrees of advanced timing so the power comes in sooner. I need a tune badly so that the PCM can compensate fo the new air to fuel ratio. It runs good now that the PCM is "learning" the new cam... Valvetrain clatter is louder than expected. Oh well.
