first question, do you have a 28" core or 34" core?
34" i think best way to find out just measure??
ls1 fans for 28 inch core, 05+ fans for 34 inch core. nelson makes harness's nelsonperformance.com :thumb:
That truck has the 28" core, use the LS1 fans.
or so whats the best place to find some in the Memphis area anyone know?
Tennessee auto parts. They are a sponsor on LS1Tech, I believe. I've dealt with them, good guys.

that's where i got my efans on ebay from. :thumb:
15" dual Flex-a-lite, Chills even at 100F out temp (5500CFM advertise)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(2boostedSilverado @ Apr 19 2007, 05:31 PM) </div>to my knowledge those fans cost around $500. plus, those wouldnt fit a 28 inch core. the ls1 efans work just fine and u can find them for $100 and can be ready to go out the door for $200 including nelson harness. :twocents:Quote:

$385 for universal ones, less Nelson Harness coming in the way, and they did fit a 28" core.
Had to do it for the FMT set up.
Just my 2 cents, no junkyards around here!!!!
FYI, when Stopping in a Red light, since I have them directly wired, they low temp to a 1/4 of the gauge, have to turn them off. and with AC on !!!!
The fans R worth the price.
wow $400, they better work amazingly. there r hardly any good junkyards here either thats why mine came from TN. I'm sure both work fine and the flex-a-lites are probably better, but if the ls1 fans do the job idk why ud need that extra cooling power. guess u can never be too cool, and btw doesnt ur thermostat determine how cool ur coolant gets? u might have that checked out. :hshake:
Yeap, that was my concern at first, took it out and changed for a New one. Same thing. Don't know why it happens.Quote:

If I could reach a LT1 fan, I'm sure they'll work all right, just can make towards one, and having a lot of Extra coling devices as Engine, Trans and the OE steering, just the Flex sound right.
BTW, the Nelson HArness is a must, u mght forget to turn them on sometimes, been there......
