Hey life is a bitch, Then ya die.
Not a nascar fan at all, I do like mike though. Going to be a tough year for him! Gad he got to sleep it off before the cops showed up 6hr's later! lol
i think he is a homosexual. not that there is anything wrong with that but yeah i do think he leans that way. secondly i fin him annoying as sin and also feel as if his career is in major decline. i give him props for trying to make toyota work but the fact that hes made 1 race all year speaks for itself. ironic he was out at almost 2am and yet he hadnt been drinking. the only think open at 2am is walmart and legs. if he wasnt doing anything wrong, why was he out at 2am. i know alot of people r out at 2am and a lot of them arent nascar drivers or people with day jobs. :twocents:
I think this will be the last straw for Toyota - I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled their backing.
Mr. P.
im guna guess he was drunk and hit a pole. theres no other reason to leave the scene unless your doing something wrong IMO.
He just can't drive, plain and simple. If it weren't for Earnhardt carrying him and his lack-luster career for years he would have been out of racing long ago. Even a caveman could drive a good car and finish up front. I feel the Geico commercials coming on.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(RedHeartbeat @ Apr 11 2007, 06:53 AM) </div>well, he did win two daytona 500's with DEI. BUT whats more concerning for me is why dale jr. hasnt shown the same success under the same team. supposedly jr has had the better crew all along and when they tried trading crews jr did even worse. dont get me wrong im a junior fan, but its been a while since he's been on his game. JJ is turning into gordon IMO BTW. haha.Quote:

Something does sound a little fishy. He probably was drunk or just had a really crappy day. Things like that happen and at least no one was hurt. GO JUNIOR.
He must have thought he was in the Car Of Tomorrow, with the bigger "greenhouse" and passed out on those greenhouse gases we all hear about. That might happen after a dinner of boiled cabbage and sausage.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(duckysbht @ Apr 10 2007, 11:40 PM) </div>Riiiiiiiight. Fell asleep, woke up just as he was at the apex of a turn, overcorrected, hit a pole, rolled the vehicle, crawled from the wreckage with just minor scratches, and walked home ~1mile. Hmmmm, I am not an accident scene investigator, but 2+2=-13 here. It doesn't add up--or even come close. We all know what happened... He's not an angel...and neither are we--cause we (ok, some of us) have been there too... And I am not naming anyone...Quote:

when it rains it pours sometimes.
Maybe if he was driving a Chevy Tahoe instead of that toyota he would of made the corner (sideways).

No doubt about that. Micheals somewhere around 6'6" tall and after compressing that windshield down he would have had to climb out the back window.
yeah that and the curtain airbags. hes lucky to be alive after looking at that. crazy how he woke up crashed then decided to crawl out and walk a mile home, never once thinking of reporting an accident. hell id be scared i was hurt and at least call for an ambulance just in case. :nutz:
Wow that is amazing....does Toyota as a sponsor give their drivers Toyotas to drive or what? I actually came up on an overturned early 90s chevy truck one night and stopped to help and the guy had crawled out from the crushed cab and was trying to walk to his house about a 1/2 mile down the road. DPS showed up and they got the guy and he was completely drunk. Pretty eerie coming up on a truck crushed with dim lights shining across the road. I don't feel bad for Michael Waltrip though. He is lucky to be alive and lucky he didn't get more tickets than he did.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DarknightOTC @ Apr 12 2007, 09:39 AM) </div>I have a very similar story. Came up on a rolled Ex cab F150 and a guy laying in the ditch. I think he was in more pain from the alcohol than the wreck. It was a creepy feeling though.Quote:

What was also scary is that 3 county mounties, a state cop, and several town cops came out of the woodwork and were there within 5 min of me calling 911!
