Got my truck back

I finally got my truck back from the body shop, after 3 weeks. They took off 4x4, and chevrolet stickers, getting ready for ghost stripes. They also painted the bed cover which looks awsome. I also went and picked up my wheels from the powder coater, and they look awsome as well, and the color matches perfectly(even though it doesn't look like it in the pictures)

This is the best day I've had in a while, considering I was driving a ford (taurus) pos for 3 weeks, but now I'm happy. I have an appointment to get my wheels put on tomorrow.

The powder coater scratched 1 wheel, so he didn&#39;t charge me for it, and offered to buy me a new one, but I was looking at my tires and they have a lip protector, so I don&#39;t think you will be able to see it at all

Nice wheels. Why didn&#39;t you take off the C1500 on the doors? After the ghost flames, what are you doing? Since the 4WD is gone, you going to do a 4/6 drop? You could list your 4WD stuff here and try to sell it--or put it on Ebay, Craigslist, hometown classifieds, etc... to get some more cash for mods.

The guy said he didn&#39;t know if the color would be exactly the same, but they look like they were painted with the same paint. I am very happy with the way everything turned out.

Oh yea, I&#39;m still 4x4, just no stickers anymore. I still need that for fishing and work.
I was planning on a 6L/80e, or a 408/80e swap at the end of april, but that has been pushed back about 2-3 months(hopefully making it definitely a 408/80e)

You should get the badges off right next to the driver/passenger window as well. then take off the nerf bars, and the splash guards and add some fender flares :hshake:

be careful when doin that. I put a few scratches in the paint. take your time when you do

I didn&#39;t even think about the silverado badge, thanks for bringing that up :thumb:
The splash guards help allot with mud, and road grime, especially with the wider tires. As for the nerf bars, I like them, and my 5&#39;2" wife needs them. :cool:
