Got the shift kit in and took it to the track. Temp was in the high 50's with around 50% humidity. This is what I pulled off.
60ft -- 2.0990
1/8 -- 9.17
1/8mph -- 77.09
1/4 -- 14.2942
1/4mph -- 93.32
I was very pleased with the results.

Even with the traction issues that track has you are getting it done..... :thumb:
How far does that move you down/up the fast truck list???? :burnout:
RIGHT ON - now we're moving :thumb: Was that with the stock converter or did you get the 3000 installed?
Mr. P. :)

"...THAT TRACK HAS..." does not imply that Daniel has any problems. I bet if you get him on a better track that AWD will get better traction.....
Sorry for the misinformation....

Good times man! I'm hoping to get in 14's myself with the Yank converter and 4wd launches. we'll see!
Good work though!

So you have the Fuddle in? How are ya liking it?
the track sucks since there is no way around the water box. No matter what you get water on all four tires. What happens on us street trucks is the front tires get wet and when you warm up the back tires you end up getting the water off them but the fronts are still wet. When you take off, the water from the front tires goes onto the track and the back tires run over it causing them to spin. I imagine it's even worse for an AWD vehicle since you really can't get up there and heat the tires up on all four corners.
still not buying traction issues on an ss. now jeff(from what i heard) HAS had traction issues on that track before but other than that sounds like normal stuff to me. greg i never thought about the whole front tires gets wet then lays water for the back tires deal ur right. awd is an advantage to a point but as stated above(and previously by me as well) it may hurt u more than it helps u because u cant light them all up and get em nice and sticky.
Front wheel drivers do great there. Allstar, did you get your new tranny installed yet?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(RedHeartbeat @ Feb 4 2007, 10:46 PM) </div>not yet, waiting on it to be delivered. looks like its gonna be a lil bit before i get it back but ive waited 6 months on other things what is two weeks gonna hurt? next mod will be rear end(taking ur advice greg). once i can get the power to the ground effectively, then we can talk about 13 second passes and slowly move down...Quote:

Cool, nothing is more frustrating than having more power than your tire(s) can put to the ground. I know my last trip to the track showed me that I was doing a one wheel peel(my salvage yard posi was worn out). You'll love it once you can start making passes at the track. It will be hard to fight the temptation of boulevard drag racing once you get it together. I got to where I drive like a little old lady during the week but look out Friday nights at the track! Bide your time and you'll get it going. Better to take a year and it be correct than take two weeks and have it break down on you all the time. :thumb:
yeah the longer i wait on getting the tranny the more stuff i start looking at for the truck. once i get the trans, within a fairly quick amount of time(two months) i should have a new rear end, stall, cam, and headers. tune will be here when tranny is installed. without very many people running the 6.0 rcsb's it's hard to judge what my times SHOULD be like but derek(DLH2006) has helped me on many questions and my truck SHOULD be close to what his is running(12.4?) very soon. once i get to a certain point with the engine then i can switch my focus to looks and interior, til then im building the most solid drivetrain i can. sorry to jack the thread...
