shift kit and stall

well that didn't work well , anyway when the truck shifts from 1 to 2 gear it makes a loud squeaking noise as it shift is this normal ?

are you sure its not just the tires barking? If not, it could be the suspension creaking.

A lot of people complain about that. Some think it's the fan belt slipping. Others claim replacing their stock 1-2 and 3-4 servos fixed the problems. Personally, I've never experienced it through 5 transmissions.

If you're running a synthetic transmission fluid, replace it with conventional transmission fluid. The clutches in a 60E can't handle full synthetics in a performance application, it's too slippery and the clutches will not hold.

I also replaced the 1-2 servo. I am running stock trans fluild and its not the tires i hear that also but this is another noise. I have heard some trans. do this after a shift kit and some don't. I guess it is ok it shift hard and quick. I guess it could be a fan belt?

I would say that very possible. Your pulling the engines rpm down a lot quicker that you were before.

Mine does the same thing, I was thinking it was the bands? Hard to isolate the sound when you&#39;re throttled wide open&#33;

i&#39;m pretty sure it&#39;s the serpintene (sp?). that&#39;s what it sounds like. pretty much normal
