My truck sits slightly lower in the rear than it does in the front(I think cuz it had a 4.3 v6 & now an all aluminum LS1). The rear has a flip kit to achieve the 6" drop with no changes made to the hangers or shackles. Does anyone know of an inexpensive way to fix this problem? (besides air shocks cuz I tried that before and it lifts the ass end unevenly)
Hey I use to live up in wichita falls and worked in burk off and on. Still make trips up there. Anyways you want to raise the rear on your truck, how much do you want to bring it up? Did you use drop springs in the rear or just the flip kit?

you could always go a little lower up front :devil:
Just a flip kit will drop you 4in. to get a 6in drop you use a flip kit with blocks. Right? If so take the blocks out.
If thats not the case then.... They sell rear shackels to lower your truck 2in for like $35, Right. I wonder if they sell longer shackels to raise it?
actually a longer shackle will lower the truck. A shorter one will raise it. You can have two inches sectioned out of the rear shackle and weld it back together. That should raise it an inch or so. You'd have to make sure it could still bolt in afterwards.

Do they sell a shorter than stock shackle? And no I can't go any lower in the front, I have already rolled the lips of my fender wells to clear and it's just barely the way it is. A quick easy fix would be to take the front springs out and cut half a coil out. You and I got easy front ends to work on and you can perform this in about 3 hours if you have the right tools. I just sold a set of 1" drop springs for $65.00, I wish I would've known a few weeks ago.
You know come to think of it I might be able to spare an inch up front. I would just have to drive slower which would probably be good for me, and it would look sweet too. COOOOOL yall talked me into it.
