Do they really help that much??
For some carburetor based applications, yes maybe. For most applications involving the LSx intake manifold, no. Money better spent elsewhere IMHO.
Unless your spraying, then it makes a pretty slick way of throwing a bunch of n20 into your engine without nozzles everywhere.

:imwstupid: Good point. As a special application that does sound pretty trick.Quote:

They don't claim to be big horsepower gainers. They claim to help with gas mileage. I saw 4 mpg avg. gains with throttle body spacer, airraid intake, and Hypertech. I had more power too(no doubt more from the Hypertech and intake) so I got the best of both worlds.
ummmmmmmm...
NO! :nono:
Took mine off and didn't notice a difference, but this was after a cam swap, to a much bigger cam.
ill sale my helix so you can test it for yourself. $40+shipping
Do it for the Whistleeee hahaa. I use to have a PowerAid on mine with K&N Gen II, and it use to whistle loud. Everybody thought I had already got blower for while. Heck I put a K&N gen II , and a poweraid throttle body spacer on my V6 jeep wrangler, just for the whistle. haha as far as power I think they help a lil, and MPG.
i loved the whistle too  . so many people asked if i had forced induction. i just said yes
