No local trans shops? Local guy out this way builds a full billet 60E with shift kit, servo, etc.... for only 1K, stock rebuild for 700.
12k/1 year warranty
If you are willing to come to the valley I can have my cousin hook you up on a trans. He built mine and its golden. Has been for the last 5 years.
Actually I was wondering the same thing about the Monster in a Box kits they offer. Seems like a decent price for what they are offering. Bump for an answer on the question :-)

I'm trying to plan ahead as well. I have a tad over 120k on the truck right now. When I get the downtime with the truck, or get another car, I'm going to pull this tranny out and get it rebuilt. I like the specs on the Monster-in-a-Box kit, especially for the $$. I just want my tranny to be bulletproof without having to go the 4L80+ route.Quote:
