EGR question

Ok so I have had EGR turned off in the tune for 4 years now and have never gotten around to removing all the bs with it :lol:

So question is: Will this block off work with the truck intake or no? I know its pricy, but I have called the dealership and they cant come up with anything when I give them the part number that I have found through google for the block off.

Yes, he was going to use aluminum on the exhaust. Thunder racing sells a block off kit iirc, and I don't think its too expensive.

Youre right. I was going to use a piece of alum to cover the EGR port on the LT's, but if it will melt then I will go get some 1/8" steel and use that instead.

I must have searched for a different part number on GM parts direct Mike because nothing but "Invalid Part Number" came up when I searched. Guess I will be ordering one of them this week. :thumb:

You can use a freezeplug for the EGR port on the intake
