Stock 5.3 nitrous?

Would a 100 shot be fine on a stock 5.3 chevy silverado.. with tr6 gapped at .35 and a tune? without blow ish up?

You'll be just fine, just make sure the tuner pulls some timing

There are people running bigger shots on stock 5.3. Like said above, make sure the tune is good.

i put a 200 shot on a junkyard 5.3 with reused head gaskets and reused tty bolts and god knows how many miles... i think an actually nice 5.3 will be just fine with a 100 shot

Not all GM's engines are made with horse shoes and 4 leaf clovers. :laugh:

Thanks peps.. yeah ima have a retune done to take timing out because the timing is advanced right now.. after that should be good !

Ill be bumping up from a 200 to a 250 sometime next season

plenty of people run tr6's but from what ive read i might look into swapping in some br6ef plugs, non projected
