Sub for my rcsb
Ok I'm etheir looking at 2 10's or 12' or just one. I listen to Black metal, and very heavy metal. I'm going for sound Quality and loudness at the same time. I have considered JBL's again because I've ran them many times before and love the way the sound. But what are other excellent options for subs? That sound excellent and play loud?

I like my Rockford Fosgate. Single 10 behind the driver's seat, doesn't take much to fill up a truck like ours.

try a single Kicker Solo-Baric 10 or 12

i have a 12"rockford fosgate p3 in a tiny sealed prefab box, it was the sound that i was after.
if you want the thump to wake your neighbors up on the way to work, probox single 10" will get the job done, i loved mine for more than 2 years, but wanted my legroom back.

i run two 10's kicker cvr with alot of rms turned down for quality, load and clear and sounds great with rock, rap and country, a little over powering if you dont turn the subs down more, one ten might do it for you...

id stick with 10s if u listen to heavy metal and rockford is the only way to go IMO

I got the old DD9512 here...

I would run one decently powered 10 in a sealed box with some polyfill if you listen to rock music, or a ported box tuned to like 33-42hz(If you go that route make sure to set the subsonic filter correctly). Audioque, DD, DC, T3Audio, Re Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, Pioneer, Fi, etc are all good brands to look at. Just remember a sub will only sound as good as the amp that is powering it and the box it is in.

DVC 10's if you like metal. My diamond d3's sound amazing and never skip a beat through some of the fastest double bass I've heard. I did a single Rockford p2 10 in a ported box a while back in a reg cab and it sounded great.
