Since there rated at .600 max lift??anyone running higher lift than what there rated at?bout to get some specs from NP,more than likely ill get the 918' or patriot dual golds......but i want the most potential possible out of this ly6.if not just get the LsR springs :/
im running Patriot Extremes and i love them. im not running the max lift but ill take a dual spring over a single spring any day imho
new style 918s are supposed to be rated above .600 lift if my memory serves me right. I'm running a .59x cam on them, but only have about 300 miles on them thus far. I think it mostly depends on what rpm range you plan on hitting. if you're rarely going to go over 4k and wont go over 6k then 918s should be good, if you're planning on hitting 7k, or you are regularly going up to 5-6k then just spend the extra on a good set of duals. a broken $20 spring can cost alot when your piston gets introduced to your valve.

I've got 604/610 lift with "new style" 918's no problems yet but i keep it under 6k RPM's. Mainly use it for towing
Im running the Comp 918's max lift is .588 and my shift point is 6500... I have over 3k miles on these and no problems at all. Daily drive, racer, moving stuff you name it and no problems.....
Why push the limits of something? Makes it sound like you want it to FAIL!!!
Jon does have a good point there.
We've been using the Lunati Dual Gold springs, very competitively priced. Comes complete with seals and all the other stuff.
They are quiet and support up to a .660" lift.

I agree, dual springs are a good investment. And the little bit of extra seat pressure is nice if you ever decide to go FI.Quote:
