Caltracs, long bars, 4 link setups
Slicks.
Yep 28 x 10 x 16 Hoosier slicks(or bigger if needed) and caltracs bars, shocks, pretty much anything in suspension. Weight transfer
some type of posi/limited slip differential(LSD), MickeyThompson Drag Radials, CalTracs for a leaf spring setup, four link for all out usage, drag bar to make it squat straight down on launches, 90/10 shocks with the front sway bar removed for weight transfer(front end rises)...
i have an awesome pair of traction aides for sale in the classified section for cheap. thats where you should start unless your sitting on an open carrier.
Open diffs can pull with both wheels on slicks at the strip if the chassis is loaded properly.
I have a LSD and 15x30x10.5 Hoosier slicks. Does anyone make a drag spring for the front and like slapper bars or something like that to bolt on the rearend? I am having wheel spin problems even with the huge slicks. I need to transfer weight to the rearend, I.E. dragsprings, drag shocks. Then I need to plant that to the ground, I.E. slapper bars, or a cal-track setup. I just need to know if these parts exist for our trucks.
i run cal tracs and DRs, you can call cal tracks and get em for around 350$ unless youre lowered and if they got to fab some crap up its 550$:( i took out my overload i would recommended putting bump stops on if youve taking em off, because with the overloads off i was launching and the fenders were cutting into my tires.
try taking out the overload next time you go to the track.
