It's an Isky Cam, 224/233, .578"/.597", 112 LSA.
Will be looking for a 3k stall. What do you guys think?

More stall FTW.
I've been told that a 3k stall will actually stall to about 3,500... that would be my target stall speed.
Get a 3200-3600 stall. you probably wont be happy with that low of one.
So if I want 3,400rpm stall, I need a 3k stall. Sounds right to me.Quote:

Ive always heard if you have over so much HP it will flash higher. Whether this is true or not I don't know.
More TQ is what stalls one higher....so does more weight.
True dat. You MIGHT get 3200 out of it with the 5.3L. I would go 3200 so you can get to the stall speed you want.
Nice cam BTW. Those 5.3Ls LOVE duration. I assume you are getting PRCs and pushrods?
I'm running stock pushrods and 918's right now. Are pushrods something I should really think about? If so, I'll pick some up.
