What is easier to do? a carb setup 5.3 swap in a OBS truck or a fuel injected setup 5.3 swap in a OBS? I know how to set up carb motors really well but not to sure on fuel injection stuff.

What would be the point in going to a carbed 5.3? If you were to do anything carbed it would be a old school 350 or 383 possibly 400 SB.:drool: I definately would'nt even think about an lsx series motor carbed?
i have seen a few, butIMO the hole point of going to a lsx, is for the fuel injection an they get awesome gas mileage. with out sacrificing power.Quote:

Yeah my buddy has a carbed 5.3 in his camaro and it runs low 10s and before when he had the fuel injection he ran low 11s. i think thats a real nice gain. and im not really worried about mileage cause i only drive this truck during the summer.
