My Truck Got Slower

So i dont know what the hell is goin on, maybe i just had a bad night this saturday. I went up to the midinight drags in tulsa same place i went last time and ran my 13.7 well now that i have DR's i figured i'd hit the same track right, so anyways the truck has been popping from 1st to 2nd almost like hitting the limiter. Well my first run was against a new WRX STI I really dont know alot about these but i looked em up they run 13s and have 300hp and 290 TQ/ these were stolen from a suburu forum, anyways he got me by probably a length at the traps and i had spun on the DR's guess i wasnt lined up right. So i tell myself that was a 13 second run for sure. Well they dont turn on the times until later, so when they finally turn the time on i get back out there do a good burn out an chevy SSR pulls up next to me the lights flash and im gone, I mean im moving right, the SSR is way the hell back there, so it shifts 2nd and looks like a 5 speed the way the nose falls down then it shifts and im hauling ass, well anyways at the traps the SSR was a good ways back. I pull around to my friends so we could swap the DR's so he could run i ask what did I run they say a 14.00 WTF!!! I was like bull**** you're bustin my balls, apparently not I ran a 14.0, so I put the 20's back on went and ran again and ran a 14.3. Sorry this is such a long post but im losing my mind im gonna check out a few things this weekend maybe i need plugs or something.

yea i have stock heads, ive ran a 13.7 but i thought for sure the dr's would have gotten me some better numbers.

I thought your trucky was at the other shop for paint?

that track sucked the biggest hairest balls i have ever seen....bikes were running 14's....i could have beat 90% of the crap there...it was pityful.....i think something was up with that track G...let's go to a real track next time

yea oddly enough me, Simon, and rados and the tbss all ran slow, but i think something is up ill try a different track but im pretty sure its the truck but ya never know i guess.

Maybe your rockers bent a little bit? I heard that this happens sometimes when you get upgraded valvetrain. maybe your not getting the lift that you were when you first put the cam in?

yea im not sure jeff im def gonna take a look at em this weekend for sure, need to change my oil too.

I think G's motor is fine. The temps are picking up a bit and the timing lights that that track may have been off. If everyone was running slow, it may have been a combination of the track, temps, humidity, etc...
