I took the billet off and painted the insert Black.

HaHa, the new look is actually the stock look. :laugh: Oh, plus painting the center of the Chevy symbol red.
That bolt over grille didn't fit too good, did it? I'd get it powder coated black and put it back on the truck. :twocents:

and the whole bowtie is painted, not just the center part. It has a grey pinstripe on the edge of it. I guess it looks kind of gold in the pic.
I can't see any difference. Must be the reflection. Looks good, anyway. I still think I'd make the billet insert fit better then get it black powdercoated. :thumb:

Its probably because the before pic you have the sun shining right on the grey grille and the after pic you don't have the sunlight on the grille anymore. :nutz: I know, I'm lame. :lol:
