running too lean?
no the air fuel ratio was a lil rich
I've never seen that before but ii've seen a cat get that hot from being pluged
burned valves or very thin tubing
Yeah, I would go with thin tubing... What headers do you have?
titanium header on my yfz450 glows red all the time...the people at the atv shop said it was normal...dont know bout it happening on a truck though
Uh...that is still sounding weird to me...what were your engine temps at the time? Did the dyno shop have a large shop fan blowing air into your radiator while you were testing it?
Having red hot headers is ok, i guess, but just don't let the plug wires--or any other wires for that matter--touch the headers...
You told me a/f ratio was 12.2 : 1, which is plenty safe. Now if the sensor the shop was using is old or inaccurate, it could be a lean condition.
