Discussing the LS1Truck Shootout - post here

i just havent been getting things done as fast as i expected. the to do list on the truck is still pretty big. gotta modify my brakes to take the 15" bogarts, mount and balance the slicks to the bogarts, narrow some stock 16" wheels and get tires for them, install another nitrous kit, wire up the stand alone fuel/nitrous. replace an inner tie rod and upper control arm. install some 1" spring spacers (that aren't here yet), alignment, new Y pipe, new leaf springs, relocate the shocks, weld on some new spring perches, new plugs and tune...

i just doubt it will all be done by the 20th.

should i change it to cant run it then? if the wheels dont fit, it aint guna work. the 555r's i drive on are amazing, but not enough lol. i tried them on the track and could only cut 1.8 60' times. also i want to have the suspension DONE before trying to get it to bite again. DBrods is going to be helping me in that department.

do you have any pictures of how much you had to grind off of the s10 calipers? i am not looking forward to doing that!

honestly i hated grinding them lol!! next time i will mill them ;)

cant help ya on pics unless i pull a tire and snap a few, if i think about it i'll do it this weekend!! since i have to change back to slicks


that ecsb is gonna look sick with bogarts!!

we will be headed out there on friday morning, were gonna take 3 trucks and should be a group of over 10 from edinburg, tx... getting my truck finished up for this event, and it will be its first time down the track, hoping to see some good numbers...

im also on gmfs didnt find a post for this event on there...ill be there though cant wait
