Just the one spring in a billet setup. Yeah, new converter and dry pan = 8 quarts minimum.
new converter was filled before install, pan was not removed, we used one spring with the billet servos, the one that goes in the housing over the "pin"
still not shifting right after corvette servos were re-installed...which is why we came up with it still not having enough fluid
Are you certain you put the seal on the piston or didn't cut the seal? Keep checking the fluid until its full. Cycle the shifter through all the gears with the engine running and recheck the level.
pretty sure all the seals are good...ill double check when i get off :thumb:
....and make sure it's full but not overfull.
I know you know that LOL.
y not?
well its defiantly low because there is none on the dipstick
Oh what? With a full converter, then with 4 quarts filled, it should have enough fluid to touch the dipstick--unless you drained ALL of the fluid out...which i doubt happened. And yeah..upon the first start...at idle, shift it from P to R--then back to P. Then P, R, N--then back to P. Go from P all the way down, going back up to P with each new gear you go down to... That is standard procedure with refilling to get the fluid working everywhere it needs to go...
