i'm doing an LS2 manifold swap and it looks to be just about the same did you have any problem with the fuel return i tried going to a local performance shop and they pulled some crazy scare tactics to try and get me to let them do it so i'm lookin for any kind of advice or suggestions

What exact waterpump was used?
Like it was said before, we noticed the pump has a threaded end and the pulley is not as wide as the camaro pulley.

For your issue, Allen, cut the nut off an old manual fan, weld a short piece of tube to the radiator end of it, weld a washer/plate to the end of the tube with a nut welded in the center and thread a bolt through there to make a puller to pull the pulley out 1/2" or so. When you're happy where it is, spot weld it in place.
Oops, forgot you have a non-threaded pulley. Can't do that.
Did you get the Ebay link with the waterpump from the LS1 with the bolt on pulley like Cajun used?
great thread! id also like to know about the emissions stuff. if i lose it all do i just need to have it retuned? Also dos anyone know a good tuner up around ft worth area? id use nelsons but Huston is kinda outta my way lol.
HOUSTON?!?!?! NelsonPerformance is in SanAntonio and they do mail order tunes that are very sharp if you can't drive 4.5 hours to get a live tune.
this might clear up a few things and also, i did not use a bolt-on pulley.
i used a water pump from an fbody/corvette/gto (car style)
you have two options.
the way i did it was i completly pulled off the car style water pump pulley, heated up the shaft, then hammered on the truck pulley (the reason why you see the threads is b/c that is the skinnier truck pulley) just enough to where it lines up with the rest of your accessories.
or
you can pull pulley out some with a puller like this, just enough to where it lines up with the rest of your accessories.

i would also like to add...
is that you don't necessarily need a custom relocation bracket.
what you can do is buy a longer bolt (6 inches long 10mm x 1.5 threads) for the idler pulley, space it out with washers untill it lines up with the rest of accessories. you'll be placing that bolt and pulley in the very top bolt hole on the p/s and alt. bracket. like this...

I have been reading this post for months. i have an LQ4 and swaped to an ls6 intake (inspired by your post). You mentioned pulling out the pulley, but your photo above looks like a water pump from a 98 f-body and it lines up perfectly. What's the best way to go. I already have a newer style f-body water pump.
