No. Re-read my posts carefully. There is a lot of mis-information related to cams disseminated on this forum, and I'm trying to lift the veil of confusion. We are not saying the same thing.

As a generalization are we hitting in the ball park though? You are being ENGINE BUILDER technical when this particular person only wants a nasty lope with good performance. I think he is heading in the correct direction. At the level you are talking about I think it would be more for someone counting every pony possible for racing or dyno drags....

its a good a few towns over from where i live, hes done all my trucks.. which this one is currently tuned now.. i think he uses westers or efilive im not exactly sure...

wester's has his own software out now? it'll run strong.

yea its westers tune i just checked.. it ran strong when it was just tuned, with servos and 3.23s i was out runnin basically 5.3s with tunes.

it would hold 1st gear bout 60 and 2nd about 102 it was pretty strong and i would just pull away once i hit second..

so it was a Westers Tune? yeah when i had 3.23s my truck wouldn't shift until about those speeds. if you're happy with your tuner keep using him

having 3.23s is almost like having a PowerGlide:lol:

yea i like them but i have 4.10s in my room waiting :D, hope i like those better
