Looks good, isnt the CR high at 12:1 to throw a blower on it? 13.1 in the 1/4 is pretty good I cant wait to get my trans in and see what my truck will run hopefully 12's.
my CR is actually more like 9.5:1
we need to nail down my tune to get more realistic numbers in the 1/4. when the weather breaks, ill be contacting allan to help.
the drop is done.. world of wheels this weekend!Attachment 8927

Got my custom made coolant tank today! took me 2 yrs to find someone who would make it CORRECTLY!Attachment 8993
Nice coolant tank. Look a bit like the one I had to custom build.
yeah. I had someone cut open a stock tank to replicate the internal baffles, etc so its 99% just like a stock tank.
update.. this weekend I won two trophies with the truck.. AND a jack\jackstand combo pack..
also, put on the custom tank Danny made for me!

Looks like fuel pressure is back to bite me in the ankles.. well, more specifically my pump's just too small.. So, I have a walbro 400 waiting to get put in .. but that's going to be after I replace the radiator, one efan motor, and had to order a water inlet pipe from meziere.. long story short\she was overheating again (like 240 degrees), and after getting home, noticed a fan wasn't turning. did some troubleshooting only to figure out that fan motor is bad..
did some logging with someone who was able to really pour over the logs for me (since I don't know what id be looking for specifically) and Im having an issue with fuel at the top end (hence the bigger pump on my 60# injectors), and we're not achieving the amount of boost we want.. I hear ya.. you're all gonna say the P1sc-1 is to small ,even with the 3.6 pulley.. you may be right.. ill tackle that after the cooling and fuel.. OH.. new sponsor US SPEEDO! Dane @ US SPEEDO made us a custom dash overlay http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps7e28288f.png
That will go in shortly as well.
The Glowshift gauges , which are JUNK, are going away for a set of autometer cobalts.. I have them, just need to get them in (one thing I hate doing is wiring, so ive been procrastinating on it)
More later..
Why not just hit it with a 3.4 pulley. Boost problem fixed :) might need an 8rib pulley setup, and HD tensioner, but hey it will make boost.
I thought about that. I have a 3.4... its out getting polished right now.. but what im afraid of with doing such a small pulley is Belt Slip..
now. you're going to say "just go 8 rib".. well, to be honest, I really don't want to replace every pulley with 8 rib. For someone like me, who has physical challenges working on certain parts of the engine bay, such as the crank pulley, id rather just trade up to a d1.. besides, I still think running a 3.4 on the p1sc-1 might be over spinning the blower. Id like to find some type of calculator to tell me how much im spinning it if I do that, and if its wise to do so..
You're not even close to over spinning it. With a max of 62,000 rpm impeller speed you can go way smaller. A 3.2 is only spinning 48,000. You shouldnt run into belt slip issues if you are planning on staying under 9lbs. Contrary to what many believe its the resistance that causes the belt slip not the pulley size. You can go down a size without question and won't experience belt slip.
actually on the p1sc-1, which is what I have , max RPM is 65,000 :)

Great looking truck. Who is the tonneau cover made by? Is it metal or fiberglass? I have 05 Regency that I am looking for a bed cover just like that.
its a fastback II made by urban industries.. no longer made, very hard to find.
Do you have any pictures of how the front of the Tonneau cover was attached to the bed? I found a flat cover but I think it is made by Checkmate and mounts/bolts the cover to the bed from the top of the cover and not the underside.
