Do you have any recent pictures of the engine swap? I'm wondering what the hood clearance will be, any issues? I'm building a 6.0 for my sonoma with the same intake, carb setup.

nice build dude really clean.
one question what made you go over to a carb?
EFI definately has advantages with fuel efficiency but i'm not building a prius-it's a hotrod! there's probably a reason that some of the top dog drag racers with 25,000 engines still strap a carb up on top. i will have the wideband hooked up and can tune this ignition system with a laptop. you can set custom timing tables based on rpm or by MAP readings. it also has a 2 step built in along with a timing delay trigger that can pull timing at the flip of a switch. single plane intakes SWALLOW cams that EFI has problems idling on and best of all, i can tune it all by myself! no more shooting e-mails back and forth with my tuner to get my truck running better because i have no clue how to hell to use HP tuners lol. if something isnt right, i'll pull out my damn screw driver and fix it right there. also, the throttle response of a properly tuned carb is insane.
it was mostly a $ thing also. the vic jr will flow better and distribute nitrous better than a 102 fast. it will also have a higher RPM range and generally the single plane/carb setup makes ~20 hp more than EFI from what i've read. all that at a much lower price. i have a whopping $450 into my intake and carb. how much would a 102 intake/throttle body and injectors set you back? then all of the wiring to go along with efi is not cheap if you don't know how to do it yourself. carb just made more sence to me since i'm not going F/I. who knows. i may get it running and decide to convert to EFI because i dont like carb. this is my first rodeo w/ a carb.
clicky. it's good to hear it make noise (even if it's only for 3 seconds)

Any updates?
its a start!!!
no, it's been sitting while i'm busy on the weekends. i did find some time last weekned to install the upper control arms. the entire suspension at this point is new except for the front springs that i re-used. I also went ahead and threw on the front runners. finally something shiney on this pickup!

Thoe front runners look good. Cant wait to see em with the sheetmetal back on it.
i do have this one. laid a fender on with 2 bolts, then laid the hood on top just to see how the drop would look up front. the pic is with the OEM uppers and it dropped some more with the new uppers. the oem bushings were overtorqued and in a bind. it settled good with the uppers. just wish i had the front wheels on the truck for this picture.
